Naxos Summer School 2026 - "Smart & Mindful Islands"

For the past 23 years, the Naxos Summer School has been successfully organized under the guidance of the Naxos 2026 Scientific Steering Committee, attracting distinguished academics and researchers from leading universities and research institutions across Greece and Europe.

The BIP programme Naxos Summer School Emmanuel Marmaras (INNOVIS2026), entitled “Smart & Mindful Islands”, will take place from 2 to 8 July 2026 (online week) and from 13 to 20 July 2026 (on-site in Naxos Island, Greece).

The workshops and seminars of the Naxos Summer School will be accommodated in the Naxos Town Hall, which has been kindly provided by the Municipality of Naxos and Small Cyclades.

More specifically, the summer school is addressed to undergraduate and postgraduate students, PhD candidates, as well as researchers and post-doctoral students from the following institutions:

The number of eligible participants will be determined through the designated selection process conducted by the Steering Committee.

Throughout the programme, participants will attend a series of daily workshops and seminars conducted under the supervision of faculty members from the participating institutions. The outcomes of the students’ teamwork will be presented on the final day of the Summer School.

The language of instruction for the Summer School will be English (language level at least B2).

No tuition fees will be charged to the participating students.

The deadline for submissions is June 22, 2026.

The certificate of participation will be issued by the IKY–Erasmus Office, which supports the Naxos Summer School.
