Course Content

This course provides a critical exploration and analysis of contemporary phenomena of geographic mobility within their global socio-economic and political contexts.
It focuses on the multidimensional nature of migration, addressing topics such as globalization and modern migratory movements, internal and international migration, the social geography of migration (urban and rural dimensions), migration policy, and the socio-economic and cultural aspects of migration, multiculturalism, and future perspectives.
Additionally, the course examines the geographical structuring of tourism as both an economic system and a social phenomenon, exploring its interconnections with processes of development and globalization, as well as its impact on various dimensions of life within host societies.
